Apple Pie Spice
During the fall season, particularly around Thanksgiving and Christmas time, you’ll find a lot of recipes that call for apple pie spice. While it’s usually okay to substitute ground cinnamon, the primary ingredient of apple pie spice, it’s simple enough to make your own homemade version.
My homemade apple pie spice substitute is perfect in a pinch and allows you to customize the level of spices to suit your personal preferences.
