What You’ll Need
Only a few simple ingredients are required for this easy recipe! As always, you can find the full printable recipe with complete instructions in the recipe card at the end of this post. Let’s take a look at what you’ll need:
- Hawaiian sweet rolls – this is a type of dinner roll that can be found in the bread aisle of most grocery stores. They have a bit of added sweetness to them that works really well with this recipe. You can use regular dinner rolls if you prefer.
- unsalted butter –
- honey –
- thinly sliced deli ham – any type of thinly sliced ham will work here. Note that if you use any flavored ham it will change the flavor of the recipe. I love to use either a honey ham or black forest ham for this recipe.
- cheese – Swiss cheese is the classic choice but white cheddar is also delicious. Both of these cheeses pair very well with ham so feel free to use whichever cheese you prefer or any other cheese of your liking.
- seasonings – you can use an Everything Bagel Seasoning blend or my list of poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried onion flakes, dried garlic flakes and salt.
- Dijon mustard – since there isn’t any mustard on the inside of the sliders, this Dijon mustard is the perfect addition to the topping.
- Worcestershire sauce – a rich and savory addition to the topping.
Everything Bagel Seasoning Blend:
Make a bigger batch of Everything Bagel Seasoning with this simple recipe:
- 4 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 4 teaspoons white sesame seeds
- 3 teaspoons dried onion flakes
- 3 teaspoons dried garlic flakes
- 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt
